After two months of daily pocket carry on a set of keys the Photon Freedom Micro is standing up very well. There are no obvious wear marks on the light, and the desert camouflage paint job is not worn or scratched. I looped a length of black 550 cord to tether the LED light to my keys so it is easy to remove and use separately and the cord is long enough to use the light while the keys are in the ignition of the vehicle or in a door lock http://keyringbuyersguide.com/Articles.php?action=detail&g=content1237175931
